Jillian Carroll

Jillian Carroll graduated Magna Cum Laude from Point Park University with a BA in Dance (concentration in jazz).  She studied her last semester abroad in Paris, France, training with some of their top choreographers and teachers.  Upon graduating, she booked her first National Tour CATS as a Kitten Swing.  She also toured in Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer: The Musical as an Elf and Misfit Toy.  Some of her favorite Regional credits include: Contact (Lady), West Side Story (Teresita), 42nd Street (Gladys), McCarter Theatre’s A Christmas Carol in Princeton, and touring the world dancing with Holland America Cruise Lines.  While residing in Los Angeles, Jillian performed and helped choreograph with her beloved “goils” - The Honey Taps – a professional song and dance troupe paying homage to the effervescent chorus girls of eras gone by….the gals with the happy feet!  While not performing, Jillian works as a choreographer and instructor both professionally and for children alike.  Dance and performing has always been her passion and she is thrilled to be back in her hometown, where it all began (teaching alongside her very own beloved mentor - Ms Lola), and is excited to be able to share that passion at the Oldham County Arts Center and with CAPAA students!
