Aimee Quinn

Aimee Quinn is a Suzuki violin teacher who has lived in the Louisville area her whole life. She began violin at age four and continued to study throughout her childhood years. After completing her homeschool education, Aimee went on to pursue a bachelor’s degree in violin performance and later a master’s degree in performance with a focus on violin pedagogy, both from the University of Louisville. During her studies at UofL, she participated in Suzuki Teacher Training courses with both Timothy Durbin and Kirsten Marshall respectively.

Aimee enjoys playing various types of fiddle music and in turn, she loves exposing her students to many different genres of music to broaden their horizons and provide more musical opportunities in the future. Aimee seeks to use her musical abilities to teach others the joy of music and to provide value to the community through acts of service. As a way to share her music and serve her community, she serves in her small worship band at Heritage Christian Fellowship and often plays with the Louisville Philharmonia (The musician’s orchestra).
