Amanda McGehee began teaching through advanced piano, voice, tin whistle, and clarinet. She can also teach beginning acoustic guitar and ukulele. She received her Bachelors and Masters Degrees in Music Education from the Swinney Conservatory of Music at Central Methodist University in Fayette, Missouri. Her degrees include an emphasis on Vocal Music Education and endorsements in keyboard instruments (piano, organ, harpsichord) and Instrumental Music Education (band and orchestra). Amanda has been teaching private lessons since 1996. She's available for private lessons at the Arts Center Monday through Friday.
Amanda says "I work very hard to make sure that my students have fun exploring several genres of music. My goal is to help my students enjoy making music. You don't have to be famous to enjoy being a musician!"
