Laura Cochran

Laura Cochran teaches private piano lessons at the Arts Center.  She took piano lessons during my school years and claims she didn’t like it.  However, when once she got to college and it was her choice whether to take or not (instead of her parents’ choice), she ended up realizing that she missed it!  She took lessons under Dr. David Gross at Furman University and studied music appreciation and theory during that time.  Cochran is also a children’s minister at a church in Oldham County and spends a lot of time working with kids!  In her spare time, she likes to bake, garden and spend time training her golden retriever, Cosy :)
