Layne Green
Layne Green is a Suzuki violin and viola instructor. She also teaches Beginning Strings for grades K-5th and Middle Schools String Orchestra for the Arts Center. Originally from Bowling Green, KY, she began taking Suzuki violin at age six, shortly before she discovered and switched to the viola. While growing up, Layne experienced many different styles of music including bluegrass, rock and Irish fiddling. After graduating high school, she continued her education at the University of Louisville where she graduated with a degree in viola performance. She is currently living in Crestwood and is an active member at her church where she serves alongside her husband in the worship band and choir.
