Lindsay Kennedy

Lindsay Kennedy is the Music Director for Junior shows at OCSAC. She is thrilled to be working at OCSAC again, having previously taught the Children’s Choirs, Kids’ Musicals, and Early Childhood Music.
Ms. Kennedy is the music teacher at Camden Station Elementary School. At Camden Station, she sponsors Choir and Musical Theatre clubs and plans annual events for students to learn about music and culture around the world. She has a passion for helping all students to identify themselves as musicians and to develop skills and knowledge that will help them to be lifelong musicians. She feels that music has the ability to promote self-expression, creativity, identity, connection, empathy, and unity and loves helping her students to recognize and experience that.
Ms. Kennedy received her Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from Michigan State University. She received her Master’s Degree in Music Education from Eastern Kentucky University. Lindsay received the Excellence in Teaching Award from Campbellsville University in 2024 and became a National Board Certified Teacher later that year.
Lindsay’s passion for musical theatre began in 6th grade. She credits musical theatre for building her confidence and giving her a creative outlet during a pivotal time of her life. She truly enjoys being a part of that experience with the middle school kids at OCSAC through helping them to see their potential and shine on stage. She loves being a part of the encouraging environment that our young actors have established as they support each other. Ms. Kennedy is so grateful for the opportunity to be a part of OSCAC Theatre.
