Mary Einfeldt
Mary Einfeldt is a director and choreographer for kids plays and musicals at OCSAC. Mary grew up in Utah and studied ballet, modern dance, and theater at Southern Utah University with the Utah Shakespearean Festival. After a brief stint working at Walt Disney World, Mary returned to Southern Utah to earn her BFA in English: Creative Writing and Dance Performance.
Mary continued her career in publishing, working as a business/technical writer and manuscript editor. She kept her love of dance alive on the side by teaching Zumba and choreographing musicals at her local middle and high schools.
After relocating with her family to Kentucky to pursue a graduate degree in Library Science, Mary was lucky enough to stumble across an open audition for a summer musical revue at the Arts Center and returned to the stage. She divides her time between directing and choreographing shows at the Arts Center and serving as a Children's Programming Librarian at the Oldham County Public Library and loves every minute of it!
Mary firmly believes in the joy and personal fulfilment that comes from creativity and creation through the arts, whether it be through performing, writing, or visual arts. She is committed to sharing her enthusiasm and love of the arts with her young friends here in Oldham County.
