Adult Jazz & Tap (Ages 14 & up), each class is 1 hour per week

These are fun, open classes for adults of all ages who are looking to freshen up their dance skills and get some exercise. Classes are appropriate for beginners and more experienced dancers as instructors will work with students to progress at their own pace. Teens may also be admitted with permission from the instructor.

Beginner Level Tap: Wednesdays, 9:30-10:30am

Intermediate Level Tap: Mondays, 6:30-7:30pm

Adult Jazz: Fridays 5:45-6:45pm

Adult Ceramics (Adults) 
Adults of all ages and experience levels are welcome. You will learn the basic techniques involved in hand building and wheel throwing. Advanced students will progress individually under the guidance of the instructor. We use Cone 6 clay and glazes that are food, microwave and dishwasher safe. No experience is needed. 
Begins November 30
Wednesdays 10:30am – 12:30pm 
10 weeks, $250 all supplies and clay provided, up to 25 lbs. of clay and 6 hrs. of open studio (times TBA)

How to Write a Picture Book (Grades 8-12 and Adults)

This 10-week course will cover the following topics:

Intro to PBs / characterization

Plotting / external arc

Types of conflict / internal arc

Show vs tell

Writing with musicality

Leave room for your illustrator

How to be a good critique partner
