AGES/GRADES: Grades for camps refer to the grade a student will enter in the Fall of 2025.

HALF DAY CAMPS: Morning (AM) camps run 9:00am-12:00pm and afternoon (PM) camps run 1:00-4:00pm. (Morning and afternoon camps will take a brief break during the 3 hour session. Campers may bring a water bottle and snack if they choose).

FULL DAY CAMPS: Full day camps run 9:00am-4:00pm. Students should bring a sack lunch for the supervised lunch period, (12:00-1:00pm) daily.

COMBINING AM & PM CAMPS: Morning and afternoon camps in the same week, for the same age group may be combined for a full-day camp experience. Campers stay for supervised lunch period (12:00-1:00pm) at no additional cost. Suggested combinations are listed for each week. For additional help combining camps, please call the office at 502-241-6018 or email arts.center@oldham.kyschools.us

REGISTERING FOR CAMP: A $50 deposit per camp is due at the time of registration to reserve your space. The balance is due by the first day of camp. (Please note that you will NOT be able to pay your balance by returning to Active Network where you registered! The balance must be paid through the QuickBooks invoice which will be emailed to you or by phone, or with cash, check or card in the office). The $50 deposit is non-refundable, but may be transferred to another camp. (In case of camp cancellation by the Arts Center, deposits are refunded in full, if you choose not to transfer to another camp).

The week prior to camp, you will receive a reminder email with camp details, and drop-off and pick-up instructions. You will also receive a separate invoice by email if there is a tuition balance due.

If you change your mind and decide to drop a camp, please let us know in a timely manner! Many camps will have waiting lists,  and notifying us that you have dropped will allow us to let in another student. The $50 deposit is non-refundable, but may be transferred to another camp or class.

DISCOUNTS & FINANCIAL AID: A 10% discount is offered for additional, immediate family members, in the same camp and for additional camps/classes for the same student. Please note that the discount will be applied to the camp/class of the least value. Each student is billed the full amount for ONE camp/class before discounts will apply.

Financial aid (scholarships and payment plans) are available by request. Please call the office at 502-241-6018 or email Registrar Leslie Daland (leslie.daland@oldham.kyschools.us) to request an application.

SUPERVISED LUNCH HOUR: 12:00-12:15 all campers come to the Lobby/Performance Hall for pick-up from morning camps/transition to lunch period. Lunch time is 12:15-12:45 in the Multi-Purpose Room. Students must bring their own sack lunches. A refrigerator and microwave are available. Lunch is unstructured, supervised time. Games, toys and art supplies will be available. After eating, students may read/listen to music/use tablet or phone or other quiet activity on their own, or engage in games/activities with others. Students must stay in the lunch room at all times, unless given permission to go to another area by a teacher or summer worker or picked up by a parent/guardian. 12:45-1:00pm all students will return to the Lobby/Performance Hall for pick-up or transition to afternoon camps.

DROP-OFF/CHECK-IN & PICK-UP:

  • Check-in for morning and full day camps is 8:45am-9:00am. Check-in for afternoon camps is 12:45-1:00pm.
  • We highly recommend that a parent/guardian walk the student in for check-in on Monday of the camp week. After Monday, students may be dropped off at the front door, but must check in and get a nametag at the check-in table in the lobby each day. Students will wait in the Performance Hall until the start of camp. Teachers will take attendance before walking their groups to the camp classrooms.
  • Parents/guardians of students who have not checked in within 15 minutes of the camp start time will be called. If possible, please call and let us know ahead of time if your child will be late or absent (refunds/credits are not issued except in cases of illness/medical emergency).
  • Pick-up for morning camps is 12:00-12:15pm. Pick-up for afternoon and full day camps is 4:00-4:15pm. Parent/guardian will be called if student is not picked up within 15 minutes of the end of camp. If two or more late pick-ups occur in the same week, you will be billed for the $50 late pick-up fee for the week.
  • Parents/guardians of young children are encouraged to come inside and meet their students in the lobby at pick-up time. However, you may pull into the drop-off/pick-up lane in front of the building, and a staff member will walk your student out to you. Older students (middle & high school) will be allowed to walk out to the car on their own when they indicate the recognize the vehicle.
