Group Guitar for Teens & Adults  (Ages 14-Adult)

Are you interested in learning to play the guitar but don’t have time during the school year? Join us for an 8-week summer course for beginner guitar students ages 14 and up. We will learn basic guitar techniques, how to read music notation, common chords, tablature (TAB), and enjoy playing fun songs together. Students will need to bring their own guitar. Acoustic guitars are preferred, but electric guitars with a small amp are welcome. Music will be provided by the instructor.

Learning to Sing (Ages 14-Adult)

Do you enjoy singing? Are you in a church, school, or community choir and want to improve your singing and music reading abilities? Or do you just want to rock the next karaoke night? Good, basic singing techniques can be applied to any style of music. Join us for an 8-week course that will help you sing with more confidence and boost your sound. This is not a choir, and we will not have a performance at the end of the course. In this class we will improve breathing techniques, diction, sight reading, music theory, singing in harmony, and more. Let’s take the fear out of singing in classical languages like Latin, Italian, and German. We will also sing pop, folk, and country songs. Student will need a folder or 3-ring binder. Music will be provided by the instructor.
