Summer dance classes meet once per week for 8 weeks, June 16-August 8
- Tuition is for the full 8 weeks of class.
- No refunds or credits will be given for missed classes except in case of medical emergency. Students may attend a similar class (if available) as a make-up for a missed class. Check with the office or a dance teacher for recommended make-up classes.
- Scholarships, payment plans and automatic monthly billing from the school year do not continue in the summer. To request any of these for the summer session, please contact the office.
- Attire for dance classes (unless otherwise specified in the class description) is leotard & tights OR close-fitting clothing such as leggings, stretchy shorts or yoga pants and t-shirt or tank for girls, and t-shirt or tank with stretchy pants or shorts for boys. Long hair must be pulled back away from the face.
- Appropriate dance shoes are needed for each class (i.e. ballet shoes for ballet classes, tap shoes for tap classes, etc.). A limited selection of used shoes are available to borrow/keep. If purchasing new dance clothing or shoes and planning to continue dance, we recommend you follow our Dance Academy guidelines for the school year. Contact the office for more information. Students may come to the first class without dance shoes if they need to borrow shoes or discuss shoe choice with the instructor.
- Summer classes are a more relaxed environment than the school year, and most are open to beginners as well as returning students. Unless otherwise recommended by a teacher, returning students should register for the summer class for their age/grade regardless of years of experience.
